THE RETURN OF
The Nutcracker Ballet
Embrace the holiday spirit as P.O.P.A., and Ballet San
Joaquin come together with the beauty and tradition of The Nutcracker
Ballet. The magic of the holiday season comes alive with the music and
dancing mice, dolls, snowflakes, soldiers, and of course the Nutcracker and
Clara, and the many other characters of this beloved fairy tale.
Directed by Dorothy Percival, this Christmas favorite cast includes local
children and adults.
Ballet San Joaquin is the county’s premiere dance
company providing Stockton, Tracy, Lodi, and surrounding areas with quality
dance performances. We are proudly affiliated with the Professional
Organization for Performing Arts (P.O.P.A. Inc.). Our non-profit
status offers many businesses within the community a unique opportunity to
support local arts.
A performance is scheduled in Sonora on Saturday,
December 8th at 6:30pm at Sonora High School. There will be two
performances in Stockton on Friday, December 14th at 1:30pm and 7:30pm at
the Faye Spanos Concert Hall. Ticket prices are $25/adults,
$16/children, and $16/senior. Tickets for the Stockton performance are
